So you want to say I copy&paste everything together? Perspective correct texturemapping is during the plasma-scene, where viewport is inside an octahedron and plasma is mapped onto it.

And one thing, demoscene respects more if people makes their own routines by researching and reverse-engineering, not just copy pasting stuff together.

Hey, the 32k competition is already online at http://www.flashscene.org

Well it's not real 32k competition as we allow free size mp3 in addition to 32k of actionscript to keep those who don't have their soft synth ready still be able to compete with visual code only.

Btw, Where's the perspective correct 3d texturemapping in this demo, i fail to find it in use anywhere.

Wow... a real 32Ko competition with flash, i'd like to see that... most of the time, cracktro conversion to flash are sooooo huge, using some frame by frame screenshotz,etc...
Unfortunatly for me, i think i couldn't really participate... my actionscript level is quite basic, but one day maybe i'll get it :) ... or maybe making some .mode :)

Sure 8bitpeoplez rulez... tonz of genius sounds for free, nullsleep, mesu kasumai, lobat, and more, sooooo many great artists... u probably know about micromusic.net, another good place for nice tunez... on their website there's a part called "microhype" with some kind of flashanimation or games, maybe one day someone will send a nice 32Ko flashmo there :)

Yes you are right. I read somewhere about 32kb flash-demo-compo. I will ask André if I can do a 8bitboy-demo :)

But there is the simple problem that 8bitboy is not featuring a full pre-cache mechanism. And it runs to slow if you do it at runtime. We have some ideas on that but currently not the time to implement it...

And if you like the music, check out 8bitpeoples.com

Wow... amazin' !!!

BitShifter's tunez is really kewl (yeah !!! micromusic rulez !!!) but... it could have been more funny including André's .mod replayroutine and an oldskewl .mod tune... like real demoz, made with the less Kb possible and not 4Mb...

Any "FlashMo" competition in 2007 ?! ;)
That could be great...

Eric Mai: You need to understand what's the demoscene about to understand all this, check out http://www.ricardocabello.com/demoscene.php to read about.

By the way, regarding the demo. I hope AS3 can do better than this, but hey, it's really cool! :'D You just created a new target to beat now which it's what's all about :D
